For years Ian (Gizmo) Richards has been providing an awesome service to the computing world with his "Best Freeware Utilities" list. If anyone ever needed help finding a tool to get the job done, Gizmo had a category for that type of software. Check out his entire list here:

Thanks to him finding UBCD4Win recently and mentioning it in one of his newsletters I was reminded of his list. I then had the idea that it would be nice to have all that software available anytime on a CD. I figure a lot of users would be happy to pay a small fee to get the 600+ MB's worth of programs on a CD rather than having to take all that time to download them all.
