however instead of an iso it just created an extra folder in the UBCD4WIN folder called BartPE.

The.iso file is in the main UBCD4WIN folder and is called by default UBCD4WINBUILDER.ISO. Make sure that Create ISO Image button is checked.

Wouldn't it be easier to just roll the next geek you see and take theirs?

The builder runs, but is unable to create an ISO. Receiving the following message in the log:

              Running external program
              C:\UBCD4Win\mkisofs.exe -iso-level 4 -volid "The Ultimate Boot CD for Windows" -b bootsect.bin -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -hide bootsect.bin -hide boot.catalog -o "C:\UBCD4Win\UBCD4WinBuilder.iso" "C:\UBCD4Win\BartPE"
'mtee' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
              operable program or batch file.

No idea what "mtee" is, but when I attempt to run the command line from above manually, it ~also~ doesn't create the ISO.

Currently trying to use built-in software to build the image of the BARTPe directory, and pointing it to the ntfs4dox.img file for the boot image.

No, I hadn't; I didn't think to, since I saw a topic that was titled "creating iso??" and thought that any previous relevant topics might have been posted in link form if they pre-existed. Silly of me to make assumptions, apparently.

Followed the link that you provided, and that thread wasn't directly helpful, but I'll do a quick search of "mtee" and see if I can find anything useful without having to slog through hundreds of posts.

                  Thanks for the backhanded assist.

Since the initial responses to this inquiry received some interesting and not exactly helpful replies, here's the first 8 hits out of 3 pages of results for a search on "mtee" as of 11 am on 5 Feb 2009 -- the 8 listed are out of the first 9, as this thread was the first listed so I skipped it.

Hope that's useful for folks. I think the final link provided might actually have real info in it -- off to check...

search for mtee in topic titles only and you get 2 results, both providing relevant answers...
                      mtee, a lot of ranting...

                        Thanks for the pointer, ben.

The result in the area you said was pretty good didn't work for me, but I created an ISO of the directory through another program (bootable, using the ntsf4dos.img file in the BartPE directory) so I'll go forward from there.
