In this instance, does this mean the plugin folder?
Or does it mean the root of the drive? ( as is the normal meaning of root)
Or the root of the “System”?

The UBCD4Win PE Builder has to collect files from somewhere to work with (the input or source files) it will collect those files from your source (preferably your install cd copied to a folder on your harddrive) and if they are not there, depending on the numbered settings you provide, from your system (sic, the installed os).

When it comes to the apps you are adding, the builder first look for files in the plugin folders (could also be from your system) then the builder copies and places all of the files in the BartPE (default) output folder in the well known directory structure we all know so well.

As you can see there is the root on your installed OS on your computer harddrive and the root in the BartPE output folder (used to build the image file to be burnt to cd/dvd).

    [WinntDirectories]
Create these folders where I tell you to and in the manner I like it (in the output folder, BartPE)

    [SourceDisksFiles]
Collect/copy the files named here and place them in the folders according to the WinntDirectories section

    [SourceDisksFolders]
Collect/copy the folders named here and their content and place them according to the WinntDirectories section

If we could do it alone, we would not need each other.
