That file is pretty big! Here I thought only OS distro's and UBCD4Win had to be jerks and have big downloads!! Well, if they ever finalize and release UBCD 5.0 then they can be jerks too because that's over or pushing 200+ MB's.

In a previous discussion when we were all trying to download something and all were having a hard time, I installed "Download them All!" I explained then that I really do not like download accelerators because I've always felt they were a waste of time, didn't really help, and probably caused problems for the website you are trying to download from. But in desperation I installed it and back then it worked great! Right now I'm at about 15% so I should have the download soon. If the download is corrupt or anything I'll post again, if I don't post back then all is good!

Looks like it also includes Total Defrag v9.5. Neato.

It did take all night to download that sucker at 20kb/s.

Link is working for me, but crawling along at 10k/sec or less.

Download finally finished at midnight - that's 12 hours in total. Good news is that the MD5 hash matches the one above so the file isn't corrupted.

Now...if anyone knows how to get it not to eject the cd while inside PE...

You can run it fine from a RAMDisk, but who wants to create a 110mb RAMDisk.

I could download it in 5 1/2 hours. Not bad ;-) Installation went smooth. However, I have no clue on how to create a plug in for this version. I have been using the plug in for 8.5 successfully. However, there are some extra directories for HDM 9.5 such as bmw, dos, launcher, Program2, scripts2, uim etc. Can the plug in for 8.5 be used? I use both the CD and the USB version of UBCD4Win.

hmmm...seems I should have tried googling a little more.

                              thanks to paraglider

                              - boot from Bart PE
                              - press GO - > Command Prompt -> type: regedit and press Enter
                              - find in “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\” the category MiniNT and delete it.

or you can use the script to put the key back when your done:

                              Quote

                              reg delete hklm\system\currentcontrolset\control\minint /f
                              start /wait %ramdrv%\Windb\Program\launcher.exe
                              reg add hklm\system\currentcontrolset\control\MiniNT /ve
