    Hello,
I use a Raid with 4 Samsung SATAII-disks in Raid10-Mode. Had a failure on one disk and replaced it with a new disk.
Rebuilding the RAID10 seemed to work fine but now I cannot boot from the RAID anymore.
With the Ultimate I can read all partitions on the RAID fine - so the correct drivers are loaded from the Ultimate CD.

Now I need to transfer the Raid-drivers from the Ultimate to the C:-drive to be able to boot direct from C: again.

Any help would be appreciated a lot!

    best regards

What EXACT error message are you getting at boot time?

        Hi,
I get nor error message at all when I try to boot. The screen goes dark, except the cursor remains in the top let corner.
I have tried the various windows start options and I could see that some files hade been read before the boot process will stop.

Today I tried to reinstall Windows XP with the repair option (not the repair console).
When it asked me for alternative disk drivers I inserted the floppy disk with the Intel Raid drivers.
Later when the installation routine tried to access the harddisk it stopped telling me that no disk was found.

Using my Ultimate Boot DVD I can still access the Raid array. I see all partitions, all files, I could even verify that the C:-drive is setup as active boot device.

I do not understand why Windows XP does not see the disks.

Any idea what else could be wrong?
