I modified the Vista Recovery Disk plugins to make them work for Windows 7, I think. I don't have a 64-bit computer so I can't try it. Can someone please test them for me and give me the results? Thanks!

    Windows7 RD x64.zip

If there are any problems with downloading, please let me know and I'll put them on another site.

            Of course this statement -

Thankfully, Microsoft seems to have realized this problem, and have thankfully made a recovery disc for this purpose.

Do y'all mean the links work or the plugin works?

                The links.

I have integrated both with my latest build (once dumb ol' me figured out to extract the files from the image). I was out of town today, so let me check with my techs tomorrow and let you know how it worked. ;)

So what should you do if you want to run Win7 RD as a Multiboot plugin, i.e without booting UBCD first? Anyone here with working config files?

                            Hi,
I get errors too when downloading the script like KCarney so just I just copy and paste the codes.
but when i run it in my vbox, i get bsod. same with vista. I already have a vista plugin download from here.

I just thought I'd dump this information here...

I'm working on a netbook with Vista on it that won't boot normally or to safemode. I have a DaRT 6 dvd (includes system restore, sfc, etc...) but netbooks have no optical drive! I have a usb drive with UBCD4Win on it that was prepared with UBUSB using Grub4dos as the boot loader.

Here's how to add DaRT 6 to your usb drive as a multiboot option:

                              1. Copy the contents of the dvd to the root of your usb drive.

                              2. Add this entry to menu.lst:

                              title Launch "DaRT 6"
                              fallback 1
                              find --set-root /bootmgr
                              chainloader /bootmgr

@All, thanks for letting me hijack this thread momentarily :-)
