Hi ...first chance to post a question ..hope someone can advise
Having created an unattended build using v303 .... the process involves the server to reboot (after copying the W2K3 files to the local hard drive)
so that it can start the next phase of the build. This requires the DVD to be ejected from the drive so that the server doesn't boot off the DVD again.
The shutdown.exe /b and /e option for ejecting the DVD in the script don't work.
Also ...This doesn't work manually using the GUI MS Explorer window either.
Can anyone advise ...
Alternatively, once the system has started to reboot can it prompt if the user needs to boot off the DVD ? - no response it just boots off
the hard drive by default.
Many Thanks
Philip

Hi Philip1234
with BartPE / ubcd4win / XP CD's the file bootfix.bin puts up a prompt
Press Any key to boot from CD
This times out and boots from Hard Disk if no key is pressed
(you only get a short while to press a key)
However UBCD4win V3.0x uses a file named bootfix.bin in the multiboot plugin
so this option will require not using the multiboot plugin and using the plugin bootfix
(using multiboot plugin and Win 2003 may be incompatible anyway)
( I assumed reference to V3.03 is ubcd4win v3.03
