hi pcuser ,

thanks for such a cool tool . its been the part of my toolkit ever since i started using ubcd4win .

now thing is , i want to have it on a project which i made by using winbuilder .used xp as source .

i have tried both versions , one which comes with ubcd4win , 2nd which is listed as normal use ,which we use from within normal systems .

ubcd4win version , does not start in live xp , saying something like , it is not ubcdwin env or something along these lines .

the other version gave error " unexpected error " , even vb runtimes which u have included in plugin were there .


can u plz tell me that wat could be an unexpected error .i mean cause and possible cure .
or
what check it does when we execute it in other pe then ubcd4win pe ? does it need some specific files /or runtimes to be present ?

i was wondering that is there any registry repair utility (shareware or freeware ) that can repair the remote registry while being in pe mood ( ofc it ll have to use runscanner before it) .

im just asking this for noobs , coz i ll build a cd for my friends , and i need to have an automatic registry repair software (my fav is ez pcfix btw ) , so that they can easily fix their systems..

there are heaps of registry repair softwares and it is very difficult to choose from them .
