These are the Forensic Aquisition Utilities. But basically they include a windows version of DD. DD and dd_rescue etc is/are relatively quick method(s) of getting information off a damaged partition. I've had to resort to them when all utilities here fail. So if this version for windows works as well as dd, then IMO it'll be a boon.

It was so nice and simple and gave a proper view of things. There's a modified version which will run in XP

It seems that the path to the update for kaspersky has changed from dnl-eu10.kasperski-labs.com/ ? (devbuilds directory does not exist)

First, congratulations and thanks for the new version. It's considerably improved over the old one and I even like the screen background :-)

How do I set the default keyboard. I've set this before in the last one but maybe it's set somewhere else? I've uncommented the line in Joshua's preshell and made in 806 (should be uk) but it doesn't stay set at that when it finishes loading. I know I can change settings after it's loaded, but I'd prefer not too. I'd prefer to set all the international setting to a default of UK, then maybe I could get rid of a few files.
