Again, I have the same question/reminder that is, everything works from command prompt.

Did you try TCP/IP Repair ???

I have, just now. And when trying Smart FTP Client I get this...

    [09:20:27] SmartFTP v3.0.1019.8
[09:20:30] Connect failed. Waiting to retry (30s)...

XP TCP/IP Repair from http://www.xp-smoker.com/ freeware.html and use it to reset both your TCP/IP and Winsock to the Windows default.

    First of all Thank you.

The smoker site gives the following warning:

Warning: Only use XP TCP/IP Repair on a computer where you have no or limited network (internet) connectivity due to a malformed LSP or corrupt TCP/IP and/or Winsock registry entries. This tool is here to restore basic network connectivity. Use of this program on an otherwise good network (internet) connection could possibly cause you to lose network (internet) connectivity. This tool should only be used as a last resort!

Again, I have the same question/reminder that is, everything works from command prompt.

Joshua, thank you for your patience, this is really appreciated.

What if the card is a CF card - I'm testing one right now?
The information you posted really doesn't help me out - I am not a technically minded person and especially when it comes to math.

My LEXAR cards tell me they're 12x and 80x but non of my other cards whether CF or SD tell me what speed they are. Am I making sense?
One often purchases cards at face-value of what the store tells them - I want to be able to come home and see whether this is the truth OR not.

Just finished the 1Gb CF card

    Writing speed: 1.33 MByte/s
    Reading speed: 1.32 MByte/s
    H2testw v1.4

What does that tell me??? Is it 133x or 80x or 66x

Thank you. Just finished doing a test on a 1Gb SD card.

    Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
    Writing speed: 1.65 MByte/s
    Reading speed: 2.49 MByte/s
    H2testw v1.4

If 1x=150kb/s does this mean this card has a writing speed of 11x and read speed of 17x at best!!!!
