Topics I've Started

  1. Arthritis

    Posted 24 May 2009

A drunk that smelled like a brewery got on a bus one
day. He sat down next to a priest. The drunk's shirt was stained, his
face was full of bright red lipstick, and he had a half empty bottle of
wine sticking out of his pocket.

He opened his newspaper and started reading.

A couple of minutes later, he asked the priest,
    "Father, what causes arthritis"?

"Mister, it's caused by loose living, being with cheap,
wicked women, too much alcohol, and contempt for your fellow man."

"Well, I'll be damned," the drunk muttered. He returned
    to reading his paper.

The priest, thinking about what he said, turned to the
    man and apologized.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come on so strong. How
    long have you had arthritis?"

"I don't have arthritis, Father, but I just read in the
    paper that the Pope does."

What’s with “911CD.net” The CD Forum?
I tried to register about 20 times and every time I get an error.

“The registration code did not match the one displayed, a new code has been generated, please try again”

Have they stopped registering new members?

    I have searched and searched.
Is there a plugin for Partedit? (ptedit 32.exe)
PTEDIT32.EXE can be downloaded from http://laptop-support.net/
    Registration is required.

    Thanks,
    Joe

    Hello,

  5. Copying Files and Cloning

    Posted 2 May 2007

    UBCD4win v3.04 Basic Setup

I must say that I like the “Look” and “Intended Features”.
    However:
    First:
I am not able to Copy files using any of the File Manager Progs.
Also, in Computer Management—Disk Management, I cannot see the Drives.
I see this Application as a “Tool” and the functioning of the Utilities are most important.

How can I get the File Manager programs to copy Files?

    Second:
Which is the best tool to Clone my XP installation?

I have XP installed on an 80Gig Disk with two partitions.
    O/S on C:\
    Data on E:\
I have setup a new 200Gig drive with 5 partitions.
    Windows assigned Drive Letters F: G: H: I: J:
I want to install my XP on F: (First Primary Partition).

    Thanks
    Joe
