Hi,

I generated a UBCD with the standaard configuration files of v3.1.10a . Configuring an additional driver (F6) for the nForce SATA Raid controller doesn't work. But when using the Microsoft XP installation CD or the Norton Recovery CD this method works fine. What do I do wrong?

The mobo is an Asus 8AN-SLI Premium which does have 2 RAID controllers an nForce4 ATA and SATA RAID controller and a Silicon Image SATA RAID5 controller. Please help!

Btw: The standard driver configuration of the UBCD also doesn't support the SATA-drives

Note.... to avoid confusion on what you are refering too..

UBCD - is a DOS based boot CD with utils to repair / recover computers

UBCD4Win - is a Windows based boot CD to also repair / recover computers and also can include UBCD with it...

So when talking about UBCD4Win please don't call it UBCD since that is another project

In addition.. the version you quoted v3.1.10a is the builder version number and is not the project version number.... The project has used that version since before v3 was released.

You might try disabling the BTS driverpack and then see if the F6 method works... you may be getting a conflict with the included drivers and this would test that.

Hi rdsok,
Sorry for the wrong denomination and version numbering.

I have disabled the BTS driverpack but with no success. However it triggered me to take a closer look at the Driver Forum and I found this recent topic "Dell XPS 600 nForce4 serial ATA controller won't work". And ... the solution which you presented there did work for me to. So, thank you very much!!
