My grandaughters laptop, which was not booting. I tried to repair and then reinstall WinXP without success, there was a error about the MBR.

This is the first time I have used UBCD4Win, which when opened, showed the C: and D: partitions which were on the boot disk, on the main page of UBCD4Win. I ran SpyBot Search and Destroy, which foud 3 tracking cookies. In Ez-Pc-Fix I removed temp files. When I tried MBR Wizard and MbrFix, they were not able to do anything as the C: drive was no longer showing.

How do I get the C: drive back.

TIA

if it was XP boot with this floppy/if you do not have floppy use nero to make
a bbotable Cd using that floppy .
