Latest MassStorage DriverPack Usage& Bugs

The BTS Mass Storage DriverPack versions used by recent UBCD releases are as follow:-

UBCD4Win: Date : DrvPack-Ver(MassStorage)
-------------------------------------------------------
3.10 : 20.Nov.2007 : 7.092
3.11 : 28.Jan.2008 : 8.01
3.12 : 22.Feb.2008 : 7.092 : Reportedly downgraded due to Bugs

Meanwhile the following releases from BTS (MassStorage) has come

7.092 : 03.Oct.2007
7.121 : 28.Dec.2007
8.01 : 23.Jan.2008
8.021 : 11.DFeb.2008
-----------------------------------------------

Why is that it is downgraded all the way back to 7.092 (02.Oct.2007).
Ist it that all the versions after it are buggy?

Some more info is welcome? Also the nature of the bugs.
Is the problems only due to the syntax (missing " ") in inf file?

Are bugs seen with 7.121, & 8.021 also?

If the bugs have to do with inf syntax, I am finding the following errors in all the above bts version starting from 7.09!
The quote at end of line is missing!

"txtsetup.sif","BusExtenders.Load","ALIIDE", "ALIIDE.SYS
"txtsetup.sif","BusExtenders.Load","ATIIDE", "ATIIDE.SY_
"txtsetup.sif","BusExtenders.Load","VIBUS", "VIBUS.SY_

This has been pointed out by Galapo earlier, I think.
