I have downloaded latest ubcd4win and made bootcd using windows XP Professional SP2 folder on my hard drive. I can boot it to one my computer with regular dvi connector to a dvi monitor with no problem. However, I am trying to use this on another compaq computer with ATI all in wondeer 7500 card. I have dvi to hdmi adapter on this card, and I use hdmi cable to connect to a vizio 42'' lcd tv. I have no problem booting windows xp to this hdmi tv. I get resolution of 1900x1080.
But when I boot using this ubcd4win, it starts ok. I get all the way to windows xp logo. Then there is a blank screen. I think the tv ifo shows signal is something like 7--x5--@60HZ, I don't remember the resolution exactly. An it just hangs.
So I downloaded DP_Graphics_A driverpack and placed it in the Base\Driverpacks directory next to HD drivers. I can not see them in the plugin under config when I run ubcd4win executable. I can see the HD driverpack, but not the graphics.
I also tried to run BartPE, but same problem In BartPE I searched for the ATI plugin, but all lonks were broken (from 2005).
I guess I need to somehow gt the ATI AIW 7500 (AGP Card) drivers at boot time. Since the regular windows xp works with this hdmi lcd tv, I think UBCD4Win or BartPE cd should work, but need to have ATI driver initialized. Can someone please help. I can always connect the TV using TV out in the AT card using the composite video, unplug the HDMI cable. Then both bootcds boot, but the screen is very shakey and unstable, giving me headche, so no way I going to work that way.
Thanks in advance for any help.
