Please, help me! I can't load my UBCD4win CD because of the STOP: 0×0000007B Error while booting!
Earlier versions (it seems to me it was 3.04) booted fine on my Asus A6K notebook. NO new hardware was installed on it.

0x7b: bootmedia error

Dosn't use a Asus A6K a SIS 756 + SIS 964L chipset?

Try disable plugin BTS massstorage drivers.

Or try update to current BTS massstorage drivers.

cdob, thanks for your reply, today i tried to boot another PC (not notebook, totally other hardware) with the same UBCD as i did yesterday. And I got just the same STOP: 0×0000007B error!!
So, it seems to me something's wrong with my UBCD, maybe it was burned with some crytical error? I'll try to recreate the CD, then i'll tell you what i get.

use imgburn and try 4x speed for most reliable burn.

Do not use CD-RW, use good quality CD-R

Thanks, hilander999, I downloaded imgburn, burned on 4x speed with verification - no use. I even tried another winXP i386 source distributive. Maybe something IS wrong with the UBCD4Win212?? I Don't know what else i can do sad.gifsad.gifsad.gifno.gif

So, Nobody knows what the problem is. Fortunately, BartPE still works for me. I took some best and most important UBDC plugins, added them into the original BartPE - and I got a good working portable boot CD.

You never mentioned whether you did what cdob advised in his first reply to you.

pcuser,
You are absolutely right! I missed the great cdob's clapping.gifadvice!! As I disabled the DriverPack.net - massStorage plugin, all came OK!! (I didn't recognize the 'BTS massstorage drivers' under the name of 'DriverPack.net - massStorage plugin' at first)
So, cdob and pcuser, thank you VERY MUCH!! clapping.gif
