Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could mod the ubuntu plugin to work with ubuntu 8.04?

Has anyone been able to make a multi-boot plugin for ubuntu 8.04?

Has 8.04 been released yet? Last final I have heard about was 7.10. I think the devs are going to wait till the final is out and then there may be a update to accommodate it then. Not sure though. Best to make requests like this after the final has been released. Same XPSP3 and such. Betas are a waste of time to get working properly IMHO.

That is usually the case. However, when it comes to ubuntu ... I have never had a problem getting beta's to work. I am not using this as a stable desktop environment. I mainly use ubuntu linux in my builds to test sound and wireless/wired internet connection ... on computers that have software corruption (I work at a computer repair company).

Pcuser pm'd saying he will work on getting it updated.

Rawk! BTW... 8 more days till Ubuntu 8.04 is officially released.

In the meantime use plugin by pcuser, but add '.disk' directory.

add .disk to ubuntu.inf
CODE
[WinntDirectories]
a="casper",2
b=".disk",2

[SourceDisksFolders]
files\casper=a,,1
files\.disk=b,,1

Here you go: http://mysite.verizon.net/hartsec/plugins/ubuntu804.zip

Extract it to your Multiboot-003 folder and hit the configure button inside UBCD4Win before you build. If you already have the ISO downloaded you can copy it into the plugin folder so it won't try to download it again.

Cheers
