Here are the error messages I'm receiving while trying to build UBCD4Win using my Dell XP SP2 Reinstallation Disk:

...
Opening/creating the registry hives
Removing existing hive files
Loading: C:\UBCD4WIN\BARTPE\I386\SYSTEM32\setuphiv
Error: loadKey() failed:
...

...
Error: closeHive() failed: RegUnLoadKey (key="PEBuilder.exe-C:/UBCD4WIN/BARTPE/I386/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/petmphive") returned error 0: Access is denied.
...

...
Error: DeleteFile() "C:\UBCD4WIN\BARTPE\I386\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\petmphive" failed
Error: DeleteFile() "C:\UBCD4WIN\BARTPE\I386\SYSTEM32\setuphiv" failed
...

I put the subinacl.exe file and the dellregfix.cmd file in the proper directory and ran the dellregfix.cmd. However, I couldn't create the ISO file because of the errors.

I'm running on a Vista laptop, so I had to run as an administrator. Any idea why I'm getting these error messages?

Any help would be appreciated!

Then I personally have nothing to add. I wonder if there is a Vista issue with using some of those tools? I've done hundreds of builds on Vista and never had a problem.

Try building from scratch in safe mode.
