Friends

I am using the PluginUpdater.bat file to update the plugins. When I do that in some instances, during the update process it says that "when the program starts, select update".

Does this mean:
1. That I, after having finished the PluginUpdater, I then create the ISO and then the UBCD4WIN CD, and then when running the CD, that I then do the update.
or
2. After having run the PluginUpdater.bat I then go into the individual program folders on the UBCD4WIN folders and run them, and THEN create the ISO/ burn the CD? So that the updates are applied already before creating the ISO/CD?

My impression is that if I do the number 1, then when I start the CD and run the programs, then it still wants to go on-line and download the updates and install them. But I wanted to get the updates already before I run the CD, as my download speed is not good. Maybe I got it all wrong here. Hopefully someone can sort this out for me.

Sorry for not being too clear on this. surrender.gif

Run the pluginupdater.bat first to update all the virus and spyware defs.

After you have done this you then need to run ubcd4winbuilder again to create a new ISO.

Then burn the ISO to CD, you'll then have the latest defs on your CD.

This process is recommended if your not going to have internet access when using your CD.
