I have been using UBCD4WIN for a few years now and never had a problem. But now I decided to move my UBCD directory to a new hard drive. I downloaded ver 3.12 to my system and run the program to install to my new drive. Everyting worked with no errors. I go to build the ISO and it won't save one. I even tried burning directly to CD from the program and it gives and error that the ISO file does not exist. Any ideas?

When you ran the UBCD4Win.exe file, did you RUN it or EXTRACT it? You need to run it, follow all prompts, and make sure md5 checks out and nothing is wrong. After that and you run the builder, did you change any options or add any plugins or anything from the default? Did you extract everything to a new folder? Thanks.

I ran the install program from the EXE. The MD5 checked out okay and no other errors. I even tried putting back on my original drive, didn't make any changes or additions, not even updates to the definitions just a straight build and still nothing. Just strange I have never had any problems building one before. It says the ISO build was successfull but the ISO does not exist in the location it was told to put it in.

Where is the location of the UBCD4Win folder and where did you tell it to place the ISO?

Originially it was c:볔win, I wanted to get it off my main drive so I told it f:볔win, which is an external hard drive. Since then I have deleted the c:볔win, ran the program to install it back to the default c:볔win and told it to put the ISO in the same folder, I even tried to tell it to put the ISO somewhere else with no luck.

Ok... then the specific issue I was thinking of won't apply ... ie a path with spaces in it. All I can think of to suggest is to ensure your Windows is not set to hide known file extentions.... or perhaps do a search for the filename
