Hi - I'm new to creating these boot CDs but have used Bart before. I created a UBCD win CD on a Dell 410 laptop using the original OEM XP CDs (suitably hacked with the DELL registry fix as in the FAQ). I am using the boot CD on another system: MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR based box running XP. Has an Nvidia ethernet NIC on board the Mobo.

The system boots just fine and I can use the tools OK. But my ethernet NIC won't take an IP address via DHCP and if I assign it statically I can ping myself but nowhere else. I've read through the various posts from Joshua and Co about using the BTS release and his revised NForce_All drivers - do I need to do anything special to get them selected or configured? I simply downloaded UBCDwin 3.13 today so I think it includes the BTS drivers and the Joshua ones too doesn't it?

Am a bit confused.

The nVidia RIS drivers won't work with nForce 2 Ultra 400, I have the same issue. You did nothing wrong, the plugin is not compatible with your network card. However, I tested on nForce 4,5,6 and it's working.

Thanks for the feedback - I had thought from Joshua's earlier post http://www.ubcd4win.com/forum/index.php?s=&...ost&p=32195 that he'd confirmed they work with the nForce2 and my board in particular. So there's no solution for my mobo then? I suppose I could get a cheap PCI NIC that does work with the RIS...
