Wow...I wouldn't have thought you could shrink a Mac that small (or that cheap - $499 base!!). I'm tempted to get one just to play around with. Too bad the store is down is down at the moment.

Cheers

Hmmm, is it time to develop a UBCD for Mac now?? ohmy.gif

That's going to be hard for people to pass up. I am a bit dissapointed in it having only 2 USB ports, what the hell can you connect after you have a mouse and keyboard connected? Anyways, it looks like I won't be checking into Linux anymore. Everyone raves about Macs and now it is closer to being affordable for me. Watch out MS....Apple isn't quiting anytime soon!! They are still pounding away! With these prices, a lot of people will be moving on!

And if people wait a month or two they'll probably get OSX Tiger instead of Panther.

Unfortunately, just like the G5, this will go down in flames as well. Very soon a similar thing for PCs will be coming out by AMD (and others) and will just smash this Mac, again. Plus to the people that love to build their computers and/or play games will not go for this Mac, so I wouldn't get your hopes up. Price and size isn't everything... (no pun intended). smile.gif

I don't know, I enjoy building as much as the next person... but I think it might be an interesting item. If you read the marketing material on the site - they're marketing this to current PC owners - you can use your existing monitor/keyboard/mouse.

Yeah, that's something I really didn't think about much last night when I posted. I was just thinking of the price. I do love building systems!! biggrin.gif
However, that is an excellent price for a Mac.
