Well I have a small problem. Here is the scenario:

I downloaded the new UBCD4WIN and Drivers file as well as PEBuilder 3.13.

Unzipped the PE Builder into its directory on my F drive
Unzipped both UBCD4WIN files to that directory

I took my XPSP1a cd and copied it to my drive.

I then took my SP2 disk I had recieved from Microsoft and put that in its own directory.

Then I did the slipstream but had to change the file name to the file name from the CD which is XPSP2.exe and it slipstreamed the files and gave me a message slipstream complete.

I then proceeded to make the ubcd4win CD and when I try to boot into it I get the error:
'STARTNET.CMD' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

X:\i386\System32\

Then when I close this window my system reboots itself and we just go around and around. blink.gif

Anyone seen this? I don't know what other information you would need but will be glad to supply it.

Thanks for any help anyone can give. I love the ubcd4win and would like to get this new one working with the sp2 in it. biggrin.gif

Thanks!!

What is the name of the folder you extracted BPE into?

Sorry, I am also going to move this into the appropriate category. This is more of a support issue. You need assistance with this problem, but I don't think it's an "experience". Read some of the other posts in here to get an idea of what should be posted here.

Someone moved it to here. I extracted BPE to BARTPE on my F DRIVE

Usually this error occurs when the project download is not extracted properly, a folder contains a space in the name, or BPE is run from the desktop.

So you extracted the main UBCD4Win download into your BartPE folder and the drivers download into your BartPE/drivers folder? Can you go through the exact steps you took during the build process (including AutoStreamer as well)? Also, what are you system specs? Thanks. smile.gif

Also check that the contents of the CD can be read and aren't corrupt.

For some reason the SP-2 will not work but SP-1 does work. Try it.
