Hi, I just recently tried to create an ISO Image. The image was not created because I had an "Error: SetupDecompressOrCopyFile "F:\i386\files\VNCHooks_Settings.reg" to "C:\pebuilder313\BartPE\Programs\ultravnc\files\VNCHooks_Settings.reg" returned error 3: The system cannot find the path specified." Can someone please help.

Are you trying to build this project (UBCD4Win)??

Looks like you're trying to use the UltraVNC plugin. Your error is occuring because you don't have VNCHooks_Settings.reg in your plugin. The solution is to either make that file so it exists in the plugin, or comment out it's reference in the plugin by placing a ";" before the line:

;files\VNCHooks_Settings.reg=a,,1

UltraVNC is included in the latest version of the project Digi. The files should be there. However the error message sent doesn't make sense. The path is way off, why is it trying to get the files from the "I386" folder?? It should just take them straight from the "plugin/ultravnc/files" folder!! There is a setting that is setup wrong somewhere!

Also, if this person is building OUR project, then this post is in the wrong place. Please confirm you our trying to build UBCD4Win and this will be moved to the appropriate category. This BPE support clearly says:

Ask any questions you have reguarding BPE that are not specific to this, project "UBCD4Win", here please.

If you are trying to create your own BPE CD, then please refer to the "?????.htm" help file that is provided with the plugin please.

That is the error you'd receive if the file was expected/referenced to in the plugin, but did not exist. You can test this by just deleting the file (VNCHooks_Settings.reg) from the UBCD4Win plugin and running PE Builder. It would appear that perhaps jul deleted that file from the plugin if using UBCD4Win, or it wasn't included if he's using the plugin from another source.

(If PEB can't obtain the file from the plugin, it attempts to retrieve it from the XP build, hence the I386 path reference)

jul, did you delete and/or rename the original BartPE plugin folder before you began building our CD? How exactly did you go about building the CD (what steps did you take)? Also, I would suggest copying your XP CD to your HD first and point pebuilder there. That can sometimes help. smile.gif
