Is there a way to build a CD with a custom shortcut or .CMD file on the desktop?

Thx,

I'm pretty sure that since we use GeoShell with this project there is no way to do that. What would you like to add? Maybe I can change one of the "quick launch" buttons at the bottom to the program you would like.

Not without using a "true" explorer shell (e.g. XPE or similar). Having a shortcut on your desktop requires 2 mouse clicks. Only one click required for your Geoshell quick-launch taskbar.

You can modify your taskbar by examining geoshell.inf and making the appropriate changes. I think you'll find it's not difficult - besides, it's gratifying to figure it out on your own... so I've pointed you in the right direction - good luck.
