HI,
I WAS TOLD TO DOWNLOAD THE 57MEG FILE AND UNZIP IT TO A DIRECTORY ON MY HARD DRIVE. THEN BURN THE TWO FILES, (ONE IS AN ISO FILE AND THE OTHER IS SOME SMALL FILE) TO MY CD BURNER. THEN CHANGE THE CMOS BOOTING ORDER SO THAT MY CD WILL BOOT AND HAVE THE BURNED CD IN THE CD DRIVE AND IT WILL BOOT THE ULTIMATE CD WITH ITS MAIN MENU. I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING BUT TRY AND BOOT THE CD, WHEN I CAME ACROSS YOUR FORUM IMPLYING OTHER MORE INVOLVED PROCEDURES ARE NECESSARY TO GET THE UBCD TO BOOT. PLEASE EMAIL ME AND CLARIFY THIS. WILL MY CD NOT BOOT BECAUSE OF HOW IT WAS PREPARED?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH,

For the original Ultimate Boot CD it is quite simple. For my project the Windows Ultimate Boot CD it does get a little complicated in creating the CD. I believe you are talking about the UBCD.

I think you may have created it right. With the UBCD you basically download, unzip, and then burn the ISO file (that was just unzipped) to CD.
You just have to make sure when burning that ISO file that you select the correct setting in your burning application. That is the most important part. There are really no other steps for creating the UBCD.
