Hi,

I tried to build an iso-file, but creation failed with error:

DecompressingOrCopy file "D:\Bart\XPCD\i386\c_20000.nls" to ...

Error:SetupDecompressOrCopyFile "...." returned error 2: the system couldnot find the specified file.

What I'm doing wrong? Reloaded pebuilder, no additional drivers or adins, copy of WinXP SP2 on hd.

Are you using the English version of XP and is it from Dell or some other company other than MS? Are you using pebuilder 3.1.3? How did you slipstream SP2 into XP (if you did it yourself)? Thanks. smile.gif

Your CD or CD drive may be dirty also. It seems that PE Builder doesn't have any error correction if it finds an error with reading a file when building....it just gives up. This type of error has been reported to me many times. Recently I changed the instructions on the site to direct users to copy their CD to their hard drive. That has fixed this error message 100% of the time. Please try it and let us know. smile.gif

I'm using PE Builder 3.1.3

I'm using a german version of XP and it is not from Dell.

I copied the cd to hd (as you can see on decompression-path).

I tried another pc with same result.

The orginal file is present with filename C_20000.NL_ and size of 69.6kbyte with same rights as neighbour-files C_2000x.NL_

I have no idea. Do you have?

It could be because of the language version of XP that you are using. BartPE was mainly designed for the English, though it has, at times, worked for others. But again, we've had problems in the past with different languages. I'm not sure if there was a fix or not, but hopefully someone else may know. Otherwise, try to find an English version of XP. smile.gif

So I tried another XP-CD, copied it to HD and PEBuild worked fine.

Thanks for your help.
