I cannot get the build process to finish normally like it used to. I decided to add some updated, like ad-aware defs, the drivers package, etc, now it will not finish. Gives errors. It does not seem to give the errors consistently/correctly though.

paths truncated to save time.

Error: SetupDecompressOrCopyFile "c:\documents and settings\administrator\...\pebuilder\plugin\avpersonal\files\display.win" to "c:\documents and settings\administrator\...\programs\avpersonal\display.win" returned error 0: The operation completed successfully.

It does this for 6 files now. It was doing it for 11 files (all in the driver folder for the ibm pci token ring network adapter), after removing that folder, the builder is now giving the same ERROR 0 for a different set of files.

Closing PE builder and restarting does not help.

I searched and didn't see any other complaints about "error 0".. It's weird because it's saying that it completed successfully anyway, but it is still counting as a critical error to the builder.

Don't ever run PE Builder with spaces in the path. Create a folder in the root directory of the drive where you'll be installing (for example: c:\PEBuilder NOT c:\PE Builder) and create from there.

Yeah, that was an old tip from the beginning of the project. Never run it from the destop, extremely long paths, or paths that have spaces in the folder names.

Do as Digi suggested and everything should be good for you now. smile.gif
