unsure.gifok im trying to get this cdrom built and burned but i keep getting the same error messages.

i copied the xpsp1 cd files to c drive and tried to make the iso from there, no luck.

source files ,wrong versionfile version "c:\documentsand settings\administrator\my documents\xpsp1\i386\ntdll.dll" is 5.1.2600.0 should be 1045 or higher
you must use windows xp service pack 1 or server 2003 of windows.
wacko.gifhuh sp1 hmmmmmmmm this is windows sp1 im using.

the second error is as follows,
the path you entered is invalid ("file c:\documents and settings \administrator\desktop\xpsp2\i386\setupldr.bin"not found.

i did try slipstreaming this but it wont build the file for some reason .
im still working on that issue.

Hi idjit1956

Don't run pebuilder from a folder name which has spaces in it, like the my documents folder.

See more here.

I'd suggest extracting the contents of the ubcd4win and bartpe into a folder called C:\ubcd4win

Note that there are no spaces in the folder name.

This should solve your problem.

So you are building the CD in a folder that has no spaces in the name and you are using an XP CD with SP2 integrated into it? Have you copied the CD to your HD first and pointed pebuilder to that location? Try that if you haven't, otherwise, please post how you built the CD in extreme detail. Thanks. smile.gif

Ok,My slipstreamed cd is 582 megs in size so i guess thats rite now.
I was Reading another post on this forum that suggested that the size of the cd was to small.
i checked it was under 500 so i redid the slipstream and heyyyyyyyyyyyy presto im a happy camper now. biggrin.gif
thanks to you both for your help

HHmmmmmmm thats not what i get but hey its seeing the cd and loading that part its the bart pe part of the build thats playing up.
it has to be something i'm, not doing or doing wrong.
i open the bart pe file and load tye cdrom (xpsp2) then load where everything is to come from as per tye destructions, next click build. All goes well untill it starts to load the bart pe drivers file then it errors.

ps im writing this at work. ill post the log later tonight.
