Whilst restoring my WinXP image the other day using True Image I found that my 180gb IMB drive had a red cross next to it.
On further investigation after I ran Seatools generic hdd test was that it failed File Structure Test.
I'm feeling the only way to sort this out is to zero out the drive, fortunately I've got the hdd space to copy all the data off and recreate all the partitions again so it's not a major problem.
Running chkdsk hasn't fixed the problem, anybody got any other suggestions or is the only way to correct this to zero it out.
In the past I've had to recover this drive with Active Partition Recovery as it completely went and I had to rebuild the mbr, plus I have resized and deleted partitions since this happened.
