I need to understand something basic. If I want to add a progam that will run under UBCD4WIN, I add it as a plugin correct. I have a program I want to add to the install and it doesn''t require a registry entry so if I understand it correct, this would be a plugin or do I add it another to the install process?

Thank you and hope this makes sense.

You need to create a plugin for it. What program do you have in mind?

If you can provide a link to the files for your program (or even just post the file names) then I can help you create the plugin.

Thank you for the help. The program is call xCopyLite.exe. It is a program written in PERL. There are two files that come with it. I am sure once I learn how to do this, the others should be easy to do.

1. xCopyLite.exe
2. InputFile.txt

Thanks again

You may want to look at Papa Tom's Plugin-Builder. It can help you create the inf, xml and htm files and put everything under the right folder.

You can download it here

I used it to create a working plugin for Spybot 1.4
