My only reason for wanting a bootable CD is so I can boot my Windows XP Professional system into MSDOS with 640x480 screen resolution. Can this be done?

Our CD can't be booted into DOS as you desire. A simple DOS boot disk should do the trick though. What do you need to boot into DOS for at that resolution? Some really old game? If so, you should check out DOSBox. It has worked for me very well in the past.
