Hello all,

First of all thank you everyone for creating and maintaining such a great project with a set of tools (plugs) which can be used by anyone from a bootable cd.

Now, I've been building a few iso's lately and adding plugs (or at least updating some). I've not been able to get any version of DeepBurner to even launch and the Small Cd burner tells me I don't have a CD-R (even though it shows under the devices). However thats another story.

What I really need to work is the Novell Client. I've got the following built.

UBCD4Win 2.5 and the 1.5 Driver pack
NwDskPe 2.78 (default)
Novell Client 4.83-Sp3
(Protocol - NwDskPe to auto start using IP)
Tcp/Ip set to defaults
Ms/Nw Client - no MS stuff / Install only Base Client
Netware SLP - Auto SLP options checked
Novell Login - Nothing (so the user can insert the ip of the location their in etc on startup)

Well when I boot....sometimes i can see the network via browsing and sometimes not. I've tried letting it launch first then logging in and many other combos of canceling it and starting network support (like using BartPE Config etc) and every other way I can think of...it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I've rebooted a million times thinking I've found the combo of correct settings to make it work. However I'm at my wits end.

Has anyone out there got a working setup.

I'm the one who requested that this plugin be added as I needed before at my work. I had it running a while back, but have not tried it since on the "new" bartpe (3.1.3). The only way I could get it running before is if I used XP SP2 and the latest Novell Client and SP from the Novell site. Once I did that and followed the directions on the pre-setup of the plugin, all worked fine. But as I said, I haven't messed with it in quite a while. I would just suggest trying the latest of everything first (of XP and Client) and then go from there. smile.gif

Hey LittlB.

Thanks for the replies and the suggestions. However about 5 minutes after posting, I tried one more way!

It's worked for me 4 reboots in a row so I think I'm ok now. If I cancel the NwDskPe from running on boot, then start the BartPE "Network Configuration" app, then launch the NwDskPe afterwards it seems to work great!!! Yes!

Could be the NIC or something else but the above has worked so far.

I'll write back in a few days on how my other nics and compiles work out. I might try the sp2/2.79 and Netware 4.92 anyway.

Thank you.
