i was curious if it was possible, upon boot, for it to automaticly log into an IP or if it is possible to bring the remote desktop client up without having to click on the icon,
If this is the only functionallity you need, you are looking for a free windows based thin-client live CD. Something I have been looking for too. It is good that UBCD4win has RDP, but if all you need is a CD to boot from to get to remote control another computer via Remote Desktop Protocol, you might try Pilot Linux (http://www.pilotlinux.nl/index.php). Just download and burn the ISO from their website and bang, you have a CD to boot from that takes you to a logon screen where you give it the IP and then see a RDP logon screen in full screen mode. Works very well and very fast, but not Windows based. Also does VNC, Citrix, and X.
Another free thin client boot CD is PXES (http://www.2x.com/pxes/). Does the same thing but not quite as polished.
I believe both can be customized before burning the CD to use a default protocol and IP address.
Good Luck,
