Guys,

I have the adaware SE plugin and it only scans the cdrom drive not the local C drive. Also, I don't see an option to change that. Can anyone assist?

Did you use "custom scanning options"?? When you are booted into the project and your drives are visible, then you should be able to select the drives for scanning.

When you run AdAware, click "next", then the next screen should be the scanning options screen. Select the 3rd option "Use custom scanning options", then click on the underlined Customize text to the right of the radio buttons. That should bring up a dialog box. Under "Drives & Folders" select the fourth option, "Select drives and folders to scan." Select them and continue, you should be all set!

I attempted the above procedures you posted and I only had the C: drive checked off for the scanning, but it still tries to scan the cdrom drive. Any other suggestions?

It will always scan the CD drive because that's where it's running from, however it should move onto your C: drive eventually.

@bc71,

Use Paragliders Runscanner plugin.
It´s a programm capable to load remote registries of your choice.

Run it as a command inside a batch file just before the command to execute ad_aware.exe.

Paraglider has written his own adaware plugin.
Have a look inside "Ad-AwareScan.cmd" to get an example for the right command line inside a batch.

UBCD4WIN already uses Paragliders runscanner to launch AdAwareSE

Is this the plugin that's included with UBCD4WIN? If so, what version of UBCD4WIN are you using?
