I am new to this project and am having some trouble getting started. I have a Micron 3500 with an Adaptec RAID Controller built in and am trying to access the boot partition with UBCD4Win and cannot see it. I have 3 logical drives defined within the RAID and the 2nd and 3rd come up fine, but as C: and D:. The original C: is nowhere to be found. If I boot from the Win2K Server Rescue console I can see the C: drive with no problems. I am using UBCD4Win 2.55 with the latest driver 2.01 drivers download and all the latest driver packs (except sound as per the instructions) loaded. Can somebody help me walk through debugging this problem please? blink.gif

I need to get this server back on-line for a client and this tool is about my last hope at debugging the issues with it.

Well, I don't understand why your driver isn't included in BTS's latest version. Have you tried using the old version of the drivers?? Actually it's the old method of drivers. I think I really need to update the site with this information about the drivers.
Anyways, I wonder if your driver is included in that? There are a lot of Adaptec drivers included in 1.6, I just don't know if yours is included because I don't have a model number for your setup. Please give that a try, create a new project CD with version 1.6 of the drivers. If you can't find a link for 1.6, just download from here:

Good luck and please let us know if it works for you!!

Sorry I got sidetracked with the fix. The problem turned out to be a different setup than I thought once I got the system up again. Turned out to not be RAID Drive and the base drive was a mirrored drive at NT level. For some reason UBCD won't see the mirrored drive. I ended up doing a repair load on the system which brought it back, just working out the problems caused by it changing the drive letter for the boot drive.
