This may be obvious to most but I just want to make sure...

Installed the new BTS driver approach, ready to press the 'enter' key to start a new UBCD build.

What about the old driver files (v1.6)? Should I delete the subdirs under \UBCD\Drivers\... ? In other words, if I leave my old driver files will I be building multiple copies of things?

Thanks,
Steve

no not exaclty what will happen is if there are any overlaping files the ones in the driver folder ( the v1.6 ones will overwrite the bts ones.

At this point I'm not sure if it will cause a confilct or not but I if it does could you let us know.

Worst case some of the drivers may not work correctly best case everything will work prefectly and you will have a massive driver collection.

Webmedic is right. We kind of recommend at this point to use the BTS drivers for Chipset, CPU, and Storage drivers and the "old" drivers for Network drivers. I will soon be releasing a new version of the "old" drivers, V. 1.7 of which ALL drivers in the release will be updated (at least, all that have updates anyway) and hopefully most of the same name conflicts completely fixed, similar to the approach the BTS drivers take. smile.gif
