Hi all,

First of all i'd just like to say well done to the developers. This is an excellent project.

I have the latest version of UBCD4Win (2.55) and driver pack (1.6) and i would like to customise the CD by

1) Adding a few apps
2) Removing the label on the desktop

Can anyone tell me how to get started? Is this a procedure for adding apps or just floppy images (http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/customize.html)? I wish to add ad-aware personal and few other apps to the disk, like a few more hdd and motherboard diagnostics and maybe some AV Software and QEMU. Can anyone also tell me how to update virus definitions and what the configuration tool does?

This project is nothing like the "original" UBCD. Your questions can be answered by spending a little of your time checking the site and searching this forum. UBCD does have decent documentation on their site, however I personally feel that our forum contains a lot more information than their's does. I'm not "knocking" UBCD at all, because of that project this project was started. I'm basically saying that we have more active members that have helped more, so there is more information in our forum.

You mention adding AdAware, well it's already included in the project. You also mention updating AV definitions, those procedures are already mentioned in this forum. Please search and check out the FAQ.
