When I load UBCDwin (the Ultimate Boot Disk CD)...
All I see in my computer is A:, B:Ramdrive, and X:
My motherboard is Intel and the RAID is on the motherboard...the drivers from the Intel website are actually older than the drivers on the UBCD...neither works, nor does F6'ing during boot from CD and inserting the drivers from A:\. The Bios has the drives listed. Control i during boot-up brings up the RAID utility which also show the drives. From UBCD's command prompt I can only see A:, B:, D says not ready (my second CD drive?), and X:. UBCD's WesternDigital diagnostic sees: "no physical drives" and 100Mb logical drive. Are RAIDs not drives but VOLumes...is that the problem?
any help appreciated, forgive me if I should not discuss UBCDwin in this forum (please advise)
thanks, Stefan
