Hey everyone, bit new to this, but see what I can do...
Trying to make the Boot CD, not having much luck...getting error messages...

Error: loadKey failed:

Error: closeHive failed: RegUnLoadKey (key="PEBuilder.exe-C:/pebuilder313/petmphive") returned error 0: Access is denied.

Error: DeleteFile() "C:\pebuilder313\petmphive" failed.

Error: DeleteFile() "C:\pebuilder313\petmphive.log" failed.

Error: DeleteFile() "C:\pebuilder313\setuphiv" failed.

Error: DeleteFile() "C:\pebuilder313\setuphiv.log" failed.

It says that they must be fix to create *.iso

Any suggestions? Comments? Would be greatly appreciated.

Ps I have the log file available if needed...Thanks

a reboot will fix this
or run regedit and look for any keys with pe in the name and unload them
the problem is the reg hives have failed to unload from registry

if it happens again it's probably a bad entry in one of your plugin's .inf file

That was quick....but I tried rebooting...and I tried deleting all files and trying from scratch...same thing...however I didin't check the registry...I will do that...
Thanks...any other ideas welcome...

problems can occur if you have an explorer window open showing pebuilder's folder while building
either close explorer or select another folder before building

not really sure what names bart uses for the reg hives
just a guess that PE would be in there somewhere

a reboot will automatically unload the hives from reg
so like i said if it continues it's probably an error in a plugin

ah whatever is before this in log is probably what's causing this

Error: loadKey failed:

look 1 or 2 lines before this for name of .inf
or first .inf you see just before the error and disable that plugin and try and build again

Try This: http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...846&#entry82846

It worked for me before when I had to use a Dell XP CD. smile.gif
