Hi

Wonder if someone may be able to help me here, what I want to do is be able to change the registry so that it has the entries for rdp profiles, it comes under hkey_users and ends up at terminal server clients, you can do a search for it. anyhow what I need to be able to do is boot from the cd and use already defined rdp profiles rather than have to keep inputting them every time, as well as that I would also like it to run the mstsc.exe at start up (don't want much do I) lol.

Can some one please give me a pointer?

Thanks

Load UBCD4WIN & setup the RDP settings to how you like them & then run regedit & export the relevant kes to a .reg file.

Use Paragliders registry converter (ConvRegToInf) to make a new plugin.inf file using the exported reg file.
Add the new .inf file to your next build & the PE registry will now contain the keys you specified when you exported the registry.

Look at the autorun plugin for examples on how to run programs at atartup.
Read the help file & you should not have too much trouble.

You can look at any of the AUTORUN_PROGRAM-NAME.CMD files that are located in the system32 folder on the cd or in thier corasponding plugins for examples of a startup file.

Hope this helps.

AHHHH
Thankyou so much, thats worked a treat, all I needed to so was to create a predefined thin client and with that advise it was easy.

I'm glad you got it figured out.

I was a little worried about my "vague" discription of how to do this,
as some (if not most) of our users would need it drawn with crayons. laugh.gif
