I have a request, about CD burner pro XP
Why not included this nice peace of freeware as a plugin for ubcd4win ?

None of the burners on the pack was able to burn a DVD to help me save back a defailling HD.

Well, CD Burner XP Pro has been suggested as the burning software to use for the project for as long as the project has been around. I use it everyday for burning CD's, etc. So I do personally have a big liking for it.

Well over a year ago I know someone was working on a plugin for it, but I declined to add it into the project. That was based on the fact that we already have 3 burner tools included in the project, and all of them are A LOT smaller than CD Burner XP Pro.

Did you try DeepBurner? It claims to be able to burn DVD's, but I have never tried it personally when booted into the project. If DeepBurner doesn't allow you to burn DVD's, then we need to start testing CD Burner XP Pro plugins to see if that will work.

This brings up a few more thoughts on the matter of burners in the project.

I would like to see the predicessor of dvddecryptor get added to the project.
I'm having a brain fart right now & can't think of the name, but it's a remarable piece of software.

Mabee I will add this "LOG" to the fire I already have going.

Yeah, pretty much. As long as testing is done and decisions are made.....I don't really care. Whatever will make the project better.

For Deep Burner, the process of burning a DVD -RW stop at 5%. Maybe it is a matter of driver. Maybe it is a matter of the working cache size.

So, i will try to get cdBurnerxp pro working.

First try with PE plugin builder but it seems not to like much the path with space in it. So only the reg import seems to be useful.

second I will try the link you provide.

I'll come later to say if any of them works for me. But i'm not a very skillful person !
