First of all, please make sure you are using pebuilder 3.1.10a. Now, don't worry about the warning, as it means nothing. As for the errors, please disable any and all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs and then copy your XP CD to a folder on your HD first. Next, run pebuilder and point it to that folder instead of your CD drive. If it still fails, please try buliding in Safe Mode. smile.gif

I'm also wondering if PE Builder is having problems with the folder that contains spaces in it's name??
I know PE Builder used to have problems with it (not sure if it's been fixed or not) in the past.

All 4 of those files are commonly flagged as a "risk" by some AV software. They were probably deleted by your AV software when you extracted UBCD4WIN.

OK, so I tried the first suggestion and ran in safe mode, that didn't help. So I guess I should I re-install Barts and take the spaces out of the filename, right? I'll be back smile.gif
Thanks blush.gif

I re-downloaded, re-installed and re-ran and it worked. You guys are great and fast, too!!
Now I hope I can fix this notebook.
Bye for now.
