I am having literally HUNDREDS of errors during the build. I have tried safe mode, I am using win2k3 cd from the hard drive, tried all the tricks I have found in these posts. I am reloading EVERYTHING from scratch. Any other suggestions?

You need to tell us more than you did...

What version of PEbuilder are you using?
What version of UBCD4Win are you using?
What, if any, driver packs did you use?
What errors are you talking about?

I humbly apologize as I wipe the egg off my face. The problem was my own doing, I forgot to set windows to show system and protected files before I copied the O.S. CD to my hard drive. (Goes to show that 20+ years doing something doesn't mean you are real good at it!) After undoing that I built my disk in record time and it is in testing right now. Thanks for the quick response!

It's usually the simple things that we forget or overlook. I'm glad you figured it out.
