I am trying to create a UBCD ISO. I have done this several times in the past with previous versions. I just downloaded 2.6 and the 1.8 driver pack. I extracted it all properly. I updated the virus defs and ad-aware defs. I loaded my XP SP2 cd just like I always do. I went through the plugins and chose everything I wanted. When I click the "Build" button, it depresses, but then just sits there. My memory usage shoots to 50%. It creates the "BartPE" directory under c:\pebuilder3110a, but just hangs there. I've let it sit for quite some time and nothing ever happens. I've checked and double checked everything, and I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing it to hang up like that?

Try starting in a clean build directory.... if it continues to act that way.. download fresh copies of the files and make sure to check their hashes so you know they aren't corrupted.

I actually downloaded just BartPE from his website and tried to build an ISO and I still have the same problem. That's without ANY UBCD files. Any other ideas?

If you got the EXE installer... try the ZIP file instead...
