I have created my UBCD4WIN Disc and it works. What I need to know is can I install more plugins bearing in mind that it is a finalised disc, also as I am new to this am I right in assuming that you would only use the disc if your pc crashed, and if that is so what does one do when it appears on your screen,I know that you can run the programs that is on it but how would you get your PC back to normal,I hope this is not to boring for any nerds out there

Waiting for your computer to "Crash" is not the best time to try and figure out how to use this software.
One of the most commonly used aspects of this project is for virus/malware removal, backup & recovery
of files or hard drives as well as many other common tasks that work much better when the drive being
manipulated is not the boot device.
Take a good look at the "List of Tols" page on the mian site & check the documentation for the programs
that interest you. You will be suprised with the number of things that can be done with the default download.

You can't just add new plugins to a finalized disk... it must be recreated if you add a plugin so that the registry entries and menu entries are properly created at build time...
As hilander999 had alluded to... antivirus and antispyware utils are probably the most used utils on the disk and these also need updated from time to time... so again a rebuild would be recommended here ( these can usually be updated after booting if you have internet access through broadband ).
In addition, the utils provided if you look through them include backup/restore utils, disk testing and repair as well as many others. To list how to do this for every possible problem you may encounter would be a huge chore that would be almost impossible. There are many utilities that should only be used by advanced to expert level users.... so if you don't already know how to use them... be very careful, if used incorrectly they can cause worse trouble that the system may have had to start with.
