Hi all,
i have found two PreLogon.ini's.

\oem1\Joshuas-PreShell\PreLogon.ini
\plugin\!Critical\Config-PreLogon\PreLogon.ini

My questions:
- why two?, which is first?, which is "better" huh.gif?
- which should i use (for password protect the cd boot)

TIA

- Run PEBuilder
- Click Plugins
- Highlight the !Critical Joshua's-WinPE -Prelogon Config
- Click the Config button

- Enter a password for the options you want if you wish... or no password if you don't want one
- Enter the number of times allowed... or none
- Enter an expire date if you wish.. or have none if you don't want one

- Click Apply and Exit.

I'll try this, thank you Joshua.

So it seams that "\plugin\!Critical\Config-PreLogon\PreLogon.ini" is the right one.
But what for is "\oem1\Joshuas-PreShell\PreLogon.ini" than for ?
THX.

All plugins in the oem1 folder are processed first. these are important things that should not be disabled.

After oem1 is processed, the \plugin folder is processed in alphabetical order.
Any files or keys in these plugins will overwrite the previous ones.

If a user disables the "!Config Prelogon" plugin, the build would be completely useless without the configuration file, so this file is copied early in the building process just to make sure it will work even if someone disables the !Critical plugin.

In early betas of 3.0 we had this problem, so the correction was to add the file twice, just to be sure it made its way into the final ISO file.
