I'm curious as to where the following line is coming from:

5964 xpsprtm\base\boot\ setup\setup.c

And if it's a path that you're using to build the CD, it should NOT have any spaces in it or the build will fail. Or maybe I read the problem wrong?

I'm having a hard time understanding your question also.

Although this is an English forum, we do have a couple members on our Development Team that are German.

Normally I would say to only post in English, but I think you need to ask your question in German
& wait for Joshua, cdob or Zharif to come around.

@budbeer

That's a strange error message.

Maybe broken hardware.
Use high quality cd media.
Test RAM, change ribon cable.

Do you use a OEM windows, like Dell?

Download SP2 again and extract usbehci.sys.

The filesystem can also get corrupted and you should also check if chkdsk will notice something wrong, or even if this isn't the case I'd also recommend you to re-copy all files from your original source or use another source in alternative like win2003 trial version available from the ms site, I know it's in english, but should help you to know what's going wrong in your case..

I've heard about usbehci.sys problems and from what I remember a lot of people who have them also have Dell computers. Why? I don't know. Do you have USB keyboard or something?

What type of computer are you on, what type of computer did you build from, did you slipstream or do you have "regular" sp2, do you have any usb devices connected at boot time?

But anyway, my original message:

here is win xp usbehci.sys from jan 2006 v5.1.2600.2783. look for "Download Link" on the page.
if you want to try this one, go to your ubcd4win directory, and then navigate to folder:

BartPE\i386\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS
replace the usbehci.sys with the attached. you should make sure it is uppercase like this:
USBEHCI.SYS
(although manually uppercasing might not be necessary anymore, is it?)

and then get a command prompt at your ubcd4win directory and type this:

UBCD4WinBuilder -skipregistry -skipfiles -buildiso

then take the new iso and burn it and try booting. sorry to say this might not solve your problems if you have built using a dell oem.

It's much simpler to start UBCD4WinBuilder and then just press the F5 key.... this will rebuild the ISO without rebuilding all of the other files.
