As for your problem, I'm not sure what's going on. Did you follow the instructions on the How to Build page exactly? As for the re-activating XP message, that always happens if you re-install it or change any kind of hardware, because XP takes a record of your hardware (hopefully unique) and then activates itself to Microsoft using that unique configuration. If you change that configuration, then you must reactivate Windows XP. If it doesn't work over the internet, then give Microsoft a call (they have a automated number in which you can use to activate XP again). If that doesn't work, then call them again but speak to a real person or representative. If that still doesn't work, then you don't have a legal copy of XP. sad.gif

Other than that, I don't know why you are receiving those errors. Can you please elaborate any more than you already did? Any more details would be helpful. Thanks. smile.gif

Yeah we need more information. We will help you but we need those questions answered. I think this person has an XP CD with SP1 already so they wouldn't have to slipstream, but I have the funny feeling that BPE may not be directed to the right folder. Then I'm also starting to think that maybe if the person slipstreams XP and then immediatly tries to run Bart's PE; Windows may be holding onto the files from the slipstreaming process????? It kinda makes sense? I don't know, I'll have to try that on another machine and recreate this problem. It sounds a lot like another problem that another user occured earlier today. I don't know just throwing some ideas out until we receive more information.

No, I don't think that right after you slipstream SP1 into XP on the HD that Windows would do anything with the files. It never did when I did it and it shouldn't need to as all of it's working files are within the Windows folder. Now if you put the XP SP1 on your HD in your Windows folder (for some crazy reason), then there might be a problem, but from what's stated above, I can't make anything out yet. More information is needed. smile.gif

Oh and Ben, did you get my email a couple of days ago, about the temp access to my pic hosting site so you could link the pics on the Screenshots page? Let me know if you did or not, so you can finish that page! biggrin.gif

EDIT: If you need any help with the HTML, let me know and I can take a look. It should be pretty easy adding the links in there, but then again, maybe it's just IE making a mess of your perfectly fine code. blink.gif rolleyes.gif wink.gif Just email me if you need anything.

Sorry to post off topic, but yes I did check them out. I was working on it late last night and I was having issues with my html. Everytime I added a pic it would make everything go to the bottom of the page mad.gif blink.gif ?? I played with it for about 1/2 hour and could not find the mistake in my code mad.gif !! So rather than throwing the monitor out the window, or kicking the case (and crashing another HDD on my wife's system) I decided to sleep on it. I will be working on it tonight and hopefully have a new page up!!
