I started to slipstream SP2 into my XP disk. It recognized my XP cd but then I had a problem with the SD2 cd. This is as far as I got. When I put the SP2 cd in it said that don't look like a service pack. When the XP CD spins up and gives the selections do I click on install XP? It is the XP disk that came with my Dell computer.
If you bought a dell, try pointing autostreamer to the C: drive, as all the needed files should be on C.
I tested this out on a dell at work and proved successful.

It seemed to recognize the XP CD . It got a green check mart in front and indicated below the version of windows. I wish I could include an attachment to show what it said. Iclicked on use my own. Clicked on the glass and scrolled to C:\I386 now what do I do.

Now you have to tell it which service pack to integrate into it. Wherever you downloaded SP2, point it to that file and it should say that's good. Then just continue with the program.

Thank you for the help. I found the information I needed and it worked with my Dell XP CD. Worked like a champ. Of course I haven't tested the CD.http://www.windowsforum.org/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t12480.html
